Booster Vaccinations: Clinics are now underway, patients are being invited, however, if it is 6 months since your 2nd covid vaccine then please call reception to book. You will be offered your flu vaccine at the same time

Flu clinics, we will update when these are being held, flu vaccines are currently only being given during the covid booster clinics

All Patients requesting a doctor’s appointment will be assessed through telephone triage by either a doctor or nurse practitioner.

A member of the reception team will ask you for a brief description of your problem. This will enable the clinical member of staff to prioritise your call. All information will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

You will be advised whether to expect a call either during the morning or the afternoon. However, if you can only take a call at a specific time, please let the reception staff know of your time frames. The clinical member of staff will try to accommodate this request.

The Clinical member of staff will assess your condition. If you require an appointment one will be arranged for you to attend the surgery at a mutually agreed time, usually during the same day.

We can arrange interpretation services for patients who do not speak English. Please let us know that you require this service when booking an appointment.

**Please note: peak time are 8am, so if you are not calling to request an urgent appointment then it may be better to call slightly later in the morning to keep the lines free for those who are acutely unwell** We do appreciate your patience when the phone lines are busy

Practice Nurse Appointments

Appointments can be arranged up to 4 weeks in advance. Some of these appointments may be telephone and some face to face depending on the appointment type

  • Chronic Disease Management Clinics such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma; Coronary Heart Disease.
  • Contraception and Sexual Health services
  • Travel Vaccinations
  • Childhood Immunisation clinics

The General Practice Extended Hours service provides patients with GP and nurse appointments, blood tests and physio assessments outside of core general practice hours.


  • Extending access to routine appointments in the evenings after 6.30 and at weekends and bank holidays
